Mario Basanov & Vidis - Who's Shot The Silence (Ft Jazzu)Well known experienced and intelligent DJ Vidis teamed up with top Lithuanian producer Mario Basanov to deliver what could be the freshest sounding house music in Lithuania and around. Their first production effort a remix for Atjazz and Robert Owens song Love Someone caused a stir - it was picked and tipped by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Pete Tong and Felix Buxton (Basement Jaxx) as well as aired on BBC Radio 1. And their first solo track called Test was featured in triple Defected Presents: Gilles Peterson In The House mix CD even before being signed and released officially. The end of 2008 saw Test single release with Atjazz Afrotech remixes included and support from the likes of Jazzanova, Laurent Garnier, Toby Tobias and many others. Vidis and Marios first vocal track and video Ill Be Gone featuring young but much promising Lithuanian singer and songwriter Jazzu became national phenomena on its own right. Hitting number one in radio charts, not leaving MTV Baltic Top 20 for half a year and becoming the most Youtubed Lithuanian music video ever says it all.
